Baby Bliss

Well, I can't say that this whole pregnancy has been bliss, nor can I say that it is finished, but we are finally close! There is an end in sight. I went to the doctor today and I was told that I probably will not need an induction date, but if I make it that far without going on my own then February 19 will be the day. Gavin Thomas Peterson or Owen Robert Peterson will be here no later than that day! YAY! I am kind of hoping that he will hang in there until after Tori's big birthday party on Feb 9. Any day after that I am ready to rock, so lets do this thing little man!

Here's our family--at least for the next couple of weeks.

Quick update to start things off. We are currently a family of 4 with number 5 due on February 25 (though the doctor doesn't seem to think that I will make it that long YAY!). Tori is going to be 4 on Feb 9, and Lizzie just hit the 18 month mark. We are SO excited to be sending her to nursery, and much to our relief she is excited to go! We don't have any great Christmas pictures since Tori had Type A influenza during the holiday, so this is as close as we got to a decent picture--see Mandi, I told you we were desperate!

The girls had a great Christmas. We had our own Christmas devotional with the kids playing all the parts (including baby Jesus). Our little angels were cute, and Tori did great! I still think that both Sophie and Lizzie would have made better henchman for King Herod than angels--once again Liz is letting her mischievous side show through!

The girls got bunk beds for Christmas and absolutely LOVE them. Tori wanted to take a nap on Christmas morning just so that she could spend more time on the top bunk. Lizzie likes the idea of the bed, but last night when we tried to get her to actually sleep in it, she was NOT impressed! Good luck sister, 'cause that crib is GONE!

We got to celebrate with both sides of the family because we went to Vegas and Arizona for Uncle Danny's wedding right after the holiday and Santa made a pit stop at Grammy's for the girls! They are so spoiled. While we were there Tori was taught that "we can do whatever we want at Grammy's house." Nice, thanks a lot Grammy. She even showed them how much fun it is to play with flour on the kitchen floor. They had such a blast!

Ok, ok, you win!

I give in! Now that we are officially the only family (on the Whitmill side) without a blog I will give in to the peer pressure. I am setting this up just in time to show off pictures of our little man (when he arrives). That way you can all have immediate access to the cutest newborn baby boy in the world! We saw his face on the ultrasound this week--we have a chance at some baby fat on this kid! Keep your fingers crossed.
