Two Months

Ok, so time always flies with a baby, but I have come to realize that the third time through it flies much faster than it did before. My little man is two months old! He has been kind of a hard baby, but is starting to mellow. We found out that he has reflux, so that is a pretty good excuse for a cranky disposition. He LOVES to chat with me after his sisters go to bed, and he has become quite the eater. He is 11 lbs 14 oz (50th percentile for height and 50th for weight too). Much to his grammy's delight he seems to have more red in his hair than either of his sisters. I suppose we will have to see what happens when he gets a little older. All I know is that I am not anxious for that growing up to happen, because I am thoroughly enjoying my handsome little man!

The Zoo!

Well, the Colorado weather has been ridiculous, so when Lara called and invited us to the zoo on one of the two 70 degree plus days (between the two snowstorms...) we jumped at the chance! Yesterday we spent four hours wandering around looking at animals, and generally enjoying the sun. We were sunscreened to the max, and yes, I still got burned. The girls had a great time hanging out with Lily, Brianna, Shane, Jace, and Brett. I would say that Owen enjoyed it to, but he was asleep most of the time! Thanks for the invite Lara! We have to do that a lot this summer!

The girls were so proud of their navigational skills. They were constantly telling us where to go and what to look at next. Even Lizzie had to have a map!

Liz was so good! She stayed in the stroller without a fit the whole time we wandered the zoo (except when we let her out to have lunch)! WOW! That was a miracle! At lunch time the kids played hide and seek while we fed and changed the babies...that is how Liz got covered in dirt (and ate quite a bit no doubt!).

This is how Owen looked pretty much the whole time we were at the zoo. Another MIRACLE!

Our Beautiful Family!

Well, even when our photographer was "Aunt Manda" the kids refused behave! YIKES! Mandi admits that we were the hardest family to photograph with one kid throwing tantrums and another constantly shielding her eyes from the sun (hence the sunglasses pics). The most well behaved kid there was our six week old little man! With much ado, here are the pics. Thanks Mandi! Maybe over the summer we can try again when Liz has had a better nap and our photographer/hairdresser/aunt/sister is back!

Soccer Season

Well, tori has been going to her cousins' soccer games for years. She has begged to play and it is finally her turn! We started soccer practices several weeks ago, and we just had game number three. Tori was SO excited to make her first goal! She scored twice during this "game." What you have to understand is, at age 4 it is really more of socializing event. Half the time there are parents holding the kids hands trying to convince them to stay on the field and play. The other half of the time the parents are on the field taking pictures. It is a pretty funny 45 minute event. Tori is having a blast, and you should all consider yourselves invited to her Saturday morning games! They are super entertaining!
Tori looks like she is about to kick, but she really isn't. Logan got this one.
YES! She actually kicked this one.
This is Tori's usual position, running behind the pack.
